Weekly Update from Gospel Believers Fellowship

PRAISE REPORT AND PRAYER REQUEST: April 11th 2022!!!

Dear Saint, and Family,
Greetings and blessings to you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
We pray and hope you and your family are fine and doing well in the Lord.

UPDATE ON TIMOTHY :
The CT scan results reveal the tip of the pancreas is damaged beyond repair. The doctor says the inflammation has had multiple organ after effects: the kidneys were first to be diagnosed as affected but are stabilized. The lower parts of the lungs were affected too but with antibiotics administered should be ok. Sugar levels keep fluctuating but being managed with insulin. The liver is enlarged due to alcohol consumption but this is not a worry. Counseling is being done to have him completely stop alcohol intake.

The inflamed and damaged tip of the pancreas is causing blood infection. He had high fever from yesterday as high as 39. Antibiotics and painkillers are being administered.
Assessment will be done tomorrow to determine if he can be released and continue with insulin the rest of his life or the remaining part of the pancreas will show sign of improvement to function well.
Abdominal pains will continue because of minimal or no excretion of pancreatic  juices to help with the digestion of food.

A quick update on Timo
1. Having some severe headache and high fever of over 40c. No paracetamol for him on suspicions of liver problem. Tests are being conducted to determine. Sponging is being done to manage fevers.
2. CT scan done on his chest. The lungs are ok, no fluid accumulation
3. Pancreas inflammation is going down. The affected part is still causing blood infection. The doctor is optimistic  the pancreas with conservative management will get back to normal.
4. Sugars are being managed by insulin

Praying for him to stabilize and be released immediately and wait for a possible Surgery.

SUNDAY SERVICE:
We were back at Nasyanda Church where the Lord has started increasing the flock. From 4 church members to current 15 shows a great increase within 2 months. We had a great time in praise and worship songs that drove us into seeking His face, praying for our Country as we go through tough times.

SALVATION:
– Brother Kevin received Christ at New Rural Church branch at Remwa Village on Friday last week.
– Brian Sifuna gave his life to Christ at Nasyanda church and joined the flock
– Elijah Wamalwa accepted the Lord during Nasyanda church service and joined the flock.
– Two people joined the Bungoma flock during the Church Sunday service

A NEW CHURCH BRANCH:
After the former church branch failed and closed down, God has opened a new door in Remwa area of Bungoma County with the Landlord handing over the Parcel of Land allotted for the Tin Sheets structure for the worship place.

All honor and glory we give to Him for all He is doing according to His Will and Plan.

DROUGHT AND FAMINE:
Many prayers are coveted for this year’s change of Climate. The numbers affected by Drought and Hunger increases every day. We pray God’s mercy over His people due to tough times even more in future.

OTHER PRAYER ITEMS:
– Scarcity of Fuel (Petrol and Diesel has caused a big blow to motorists and hiked commodities prices hence hard economic times.

PRAYER WITH FASTING:
A weekly Prayer with Fasting program is on. We will be seeking God for all that have befallen us and around the Globe as from Wednesday to Saturday this week.
