I recently met Pastor Evans Ongeri Michieka from Kenya on LinkedIn. He and his wife Janet have been blessed with three children. Because he grew up as an orphan and suffered rejection and mistreatment, Pastor Evans has a special place in his heart for orphans. He mentioned James 1:27 in describing his love for them. “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world” (NIV). He went on to say . . .
While I was guiding and encouraging the orphans through God’s Word, people started to join one by one and we came many in number. I therefore built a place for worshiping and praising God.
This group of believers gather in worship meet for worship every Sunday.
His prayer requests:
His grace to pray for us God open as a door to get Bibles for the needy and poor people in fellowship, pray for God open a door for health and education for the orphanage children, support of widows and widowers ,have a better building structure for our praying and worshiping services and for spiritual growing and salvation of souls .
Please join me in praying for these needs.
