Pastor Juma pastors a Baptist church in Western Kenya and heads the Davis Juma Foundation. His passion is evangelism and church planting. He says, “With God’s help, I have planted twelve churches in Kenya and Uganda. I have also founded an evangelistic ministry called Gospel Light Evangelical Missions through which I reach different areas of the world for Christ. My greatest challenge is to provide both evangelism and discipleship materials including Bibles which people can read and understand to be grounded in God’s Word. My greatest desire is to see believers grow and stand firm against the destructive heresies modern day Gnosticism and false teachings that keep them from God’s blessings.”
They also minister to hundreds of orphans whose parents died of HIV/AIDS and malaria.
Pastor Juma says, “My ministry is some kind of holistic ministry whereby I reach the world for Christ and meet the poor’s physical needs like food, clean water, medication etc. . . . My mission is to unite with whole body of Christ to reach the whole world with the whole Gospel of Jesus Christ-Holistic ministry.” Mission: Give hope to those who need it most.
